Not for athletic calves
4 stars because they don’t work if you have athletic calves. I ended up giving these to my daughter. They are truly beautiful boots though and I am sad they didn’t work for me but glad they worked for her! They do run a half size to a full size big.

Plain Jane Buttermilk
I can't praise Lane Boots enough! They are amazing all around! These boots are incredibly well made. Comfortable and fit like a glove right out of the box! No breaking in needed! I will say the tge Plain Jane are larger than expected if you didn't read reviews or talk to customer service before ordering. I did both. I have a wide foot and high instep. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5. I was told to go with the 9 and they were spot on! I lived them so much I bought them in Black too. I also bought the Cossette in 3 different colors. In that style I wear a 9.5 due to the snip toe. I now have 5 pair and have my eye on a few more! I am truly obsessed with Lane Boots!

Love my boots!
I ordered these boots to wear for my wedding so I haven't had the chance to wear them around for a full day yet....wanting to keep them clean for the big day! But these boots are so comfortable to just slip on. I tend to need have a wider toe box in my boots, and often times have to size up. I ordered my normal size in these boots, and so far these boots fit perfectly and are so beautiful. I can't wait to wear them more often! I'm already considering buying a 2nd pair.

First pair of Lanes. FINALLY!! I want every color Plain Jane available now!!!! I’d were them every day if I could.
