Eleven stars for White Smokeshow!!
The White Smokeshow cowgirl boots are absolute perfection; classic beauties that will never go out of style. I LOVE, LOVE everything about this gorgeous boot, the beautiful white (It's a milk White, rather than a stark one), the heel and shaft height and width are all very flattering, white washed finish on the heels (Lane is known for this treatment which showcases the metal steerhead studs so well) and the soft, high quality leather. I bought my usual size in this style and the boots fit extremely well and are very comfortable. I have a wide foot (not long) and high instep and the Smokeshow accommodates this perfectly, without having to go up one half size for the snip toe. I am in Canada and do wish the duties and taxes imposed on American goods by the Canadian government were not so hefty. I know, it works both ways, Americans are hit with them too, when ordering our goods. (Duties and taxes for one pair of Smokeshow boots is $120-$130 Canadian on top of purchase, shipping, taxes and exchange rate prices. You are thus looking @ a big investment and you need your cowboy boots to offer peak performance!) Lane boots are worth it, but I do wish I could get more discounts, as I usually have to purchase @ full price. On the plus side, shipping is fast, it usually takes about 3 business days, from ordering to arrival. I also wish Lane designed a hair on pony print option in the Smokeshow. Black/white and brown/white hair would be incredible!

BETTER THAN EXPECTED!
Lane Boots came as a recommendation from a vendor at the Calgary Stampede. Because we live in Texas and were visiting, we decided to order online. When we opened the box, we knew we had made the best decision. The smell of a higher quality leather was prominent! The fit is great, and the style is outstanding.
