FAQ

In case you were wonderin'...

Where are Lane Boots made?

Our boots are proudly made at our factory, La Puerta Turquesa, in Leon, Mexico.

What are your soles made out of?

Our soles are made with love and 100% Leather.

Why does the turquoise come off my boot?

The iconic turquoise color is applied to the bottom of the sole after manufacturing. As you wear the boots, the stain will wear off the sole. Don’t fret, this shows how much you love your Lanes!

What are your boots made of?

Each style is unique and may use multiple materials like metal for studs or zippers, fabric for overlays, and thread for embroidery. However, every boot is genuinely hand-crafted and the large majority of each boot is 100% leather.

Are our boots made by hand?

Yes! All of our boots are uniquely hand-crafted. There are over 100 steps to complete a single pair of boots

Do you sell Children’s styles?

We currently do not sell children’s styles.

Do you make custom boots?

We currently do not make custom boots.

SIZING AND FIT

Do your boots fit true to size?

Our boots fit true to size; however, we do suggest you go up a half size in boots with higher stacked heel (ie. the Stud Rocker). Please check out The Boot Fitting Guide to find our sizing chart that will help you find just the right size—no matter what style you’re looking for!

What size should I wear?

There are some fit variances between the styles, so please check out The Boot Fitting Guide to find our sizing chart that will help you find just the right size—no matter what style you’re looking for!

What sizes do you offer?

Our sizes run from 5 – 11 with half sizes.

CARE AND REPAIR

How do you recommend caring for my boots?

Your Lane Boots are an investment, and you’ll want to take good care of them. Check out the Boot Care section in Customer Care for tips on how to keep your boots clean and long-lasting.

Can I send my boots in for repair?

All boots have a limited one year warranty. If your boots were purchased from a retailer, Lane Boots must honor the retailer’s return policy. This means all returns must be processed through the retailer’s return policy. If your boots were purchased directly from Lane Boots and fall under the warranty, please contact our Customer Service Department at CustomerService@LaneBoots.com and provide the style, size, date purchased, detailed description of boot issue, and photo of boots that need to be repaired. Submitting your repair request is not a guarantee that your boots will be repaired as they must go through an approval process. Once our Customer Service Department approves the repair request, we will contact you with further instructions. We recommend working with your local cobbler as they will be able to fix almost anything.
