Detailed review in case this helps someone! First of all, they are beautiful and great quality. I adore the turquoise and black color.
Sizing: I am a true 10.5 - I ordered 10.5 and they felt SO tight and hard to put on, I was concerned about injuring my feet (I have actually injured my foot before wearing shoes that were too tight so I have to be careful). I ordered the 11 to try as well and they were HUGE, it's a big jump up in size.
Break-in process: Decided to try breaking in the 10.5 around the house with the "wet sock trick" - put on a pair of medium-thick socks, spray the socks with a mix of 50% rubbing alcohol + 50% water, focusing on areas where the boots rub your foot or are the tightest, then wear the boots around the house until the socks are dry, repeat as needed,
Comfort: The boots broke in SO fast and became totally comfortable in just 1-2 short break in sessions. I wore the boots outside for the very first time to my 8+ hour long birthday party with a ton of walking and dancing on hard concrete and my feet felt great the whole time!! I never needed my back up shoes. I absolutely love these and would definitely buy Lane boots again.
Gorgeous! Such pretty boots I love them! Did take about 3-4 weeks to ship, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. But the boots themselves are perfect!
Huge fan of the Emma. Wear all day right out of the box. I love blue boots. This color with the light bottoms are classy and go great with all denim. Two thumbs up!
