Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

I could go on and on! I’ve worn this boot a multitude of ways and it just never disappoints! It goes beautifully with everything! Bonus, super comfy!

I wear a size 10 but had to size down to a 9.5. The foot portion fits great, very comfy. The opening portion feels very large around my ankle. Ordered the white and they are more crackle/distressed than I expected. The stock photos appear more white.

These boots are lovely! The ceramic crackle color is a great addition to my boot collection. It goes very nicely with so many dresses I have. I could’ve downsized a half size as I feel they run slightly large but I am just wearing thicker socks with them and they are perfect that way.

The only 'con': the right heel was tailored differently than the left. WAY too tight. looked like two different boots. Took it to be stretched to fit. They are now a perfect match and I love them.

I bought these boots for my upcoming wedding in May! Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten to wear them much expect at the fitting and around the house but I can’t wait I absolutely love them! I’m even debating buying them in black as well to start wearing now!

Love the color and style heel height is great for every day wear. Only wish they had a zipper. I have a very high instep and boots are extremely hard to get on but comfortable once on. I have used s boot stretcher and spray but did not help much.

Finally…the boots of my dreams! These are the perfect white bootie. More of a dusty white, not bright at all. Has a beige/taupe distressed look peaking throughout. The insole was cushy soft. Felt like boots I’ve had for years. I wear a 9 in shoes and 9.5 in boots, however the size 9 fit perfectly in these. I wear thin socks. If you like thick socks I'd size up 1/2. So worth it!
