Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

It was so easy to purchase and exchange making finding the correct fit a wonderful experience. I ended up buying two pairs of booties and wore them to CMA Fest this year! Fun fact, while friends had other brands and their feet hurt by the end of the night I was still dancing! Thank you, Lane Boots!

I compare the size with a previous pair of Lanes I bought, but this time they are a tad smaller and narrow.I have a narrow foot, but I'm finding I need to wear thin socks with these. I now wear size 7, but my other pair are a 6 1/2, so I purchased these in a 6 1/2. I love that they are leather and not suede, they kind of looked suede. I look forward to wearing them this spring! The color is spot on blush, and can be worn as a neutral color I think. I feel very classy and feminine in them and they are comfortable, just narrow, fyi for wide feet women.

Lane boots are the best!! I got these booties in pink and the ruby color.. they do run big so I had to exchange them.. which couldn’t have been smoother! They sent my new pair & I had the correct size within days.. 100% recommend the booties & company.

My first order size 8 were perfect & beautiful, though ran large, returned for 7 1/2. 2nd pair was missing 2 stitches on the left sole of each shoe and the suede was dingy lots of grey rubbed areas. Returned for another 7 1/2 boot, beautiful except again 2 missing stitches on left side of each boot. I emailed Jonathan Casson at Support, sent him photos and said he was going to send a new pair, I waited 2 weeks and emailed when I did not receive them, he replied the system didn't recognize the exchange as they've switched to a more friendly system so could have been a glitch. I went on the link he sent and now it says I have passed my 30 days to return. They also took away my $25. new client credit. I love my boots except for the missing stitching, haven't worn yet at I was hoping to get a good replacement for how much I spent on these boots, and now not even getting my new client credit. By the way, Jonathan never replied to me after I sent him an email explaining now the website won't accept my exchange. I'm overall very disappointed with this purchase and customer service experience. It would be nice if someone would make this right.

These. Boots. Are. Fab.I've been wishing for some cowboy boots for a little while now and finally decided to get some. I found Lane on Google when I typed in pink cowboy booties and they were exactly what I was imagining. I hemmed and hawed for a week or so on what size to get. I can be anywhere from 7.5 to 8.5 depending on the brand. My mom has a pair of Old Gringo's in a 7.5 that seemed good to me, if a little pinchy on my toes so that's the size I ended up getting. When they came they smelled sooo good and the pink color is perfect (girly without being too girly). I put on my favorite socks and my feet slipped right into these boots as if they were custom made for me. The fit was perfect and didn't pinch my toes at all. My feet are slightly wide and the leather is snug around the front of my foot, but it's not that bad and is the part that would break in anyway. As for the overall look I love that they have a more western vibe than a rodeo princess. I would also like to note that I have very flat, over-pronating feet and these were very comfortable and supportive and I can tell I'll be able to walk in them all day.I would definitely recommend this quality product
