These boots are so beautiful and well made. The leather is so nice. Love the cognac color (in photo above); just what I was looking for. Any scratches just rubbed out. They'll take a few wears to break in the leather but are still comfortable out of the box. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I ordered my usual size 10 and they were slightly loose on me but nothing a thicker sock wont remedy. I especially love love how the leather soles are a lovely turquoise color, elevating the look. Nice touch, I feel so fancy! I received compliments the first time I wore them. Get them, you won't regret it!

Beautiful, comfortable, stylish but….

These boots are top notch. Everything about them. I will say this, thank goodness for the zipper because I bough 3 other pairs (with no zipper) from Lane after I enjoyed these so much and I have no idea how people get these on their foot. I feel like Cinderella over here…

Amazing I have the Plain Jane in 5 colors

Shipping took longer than expected and do not even try and call them for an exchange, just do it online. BUT- these boots are beautiful and comfortable, no break in period needed. Thin shaft so for people like me that are tall and thin, I do not have that big bulge under my jeans. LOVE THESE BOOTS. Do purchase a leather care lotion. I could go one half size down and be fine but a little extra room for warmer socks is perfectly fine with me.

My Lane boots are classy, comfortable and versatile - they transfer well from a fancy dress to blue Jean shorts! The mailing list is annoying - remove my email from the list!
