Boots are cute overall. I ordered a half size up since the size chart said to do that if you have a high arch and they are a little too big. Unfortunately the blue sole is extremely delicate so even walking on my carpet like they advise you to scuffed the blue off so I didn't even bother trying to return them for a different size. Wearing a thicker pair of socks than I usually do in boots is my current fix and seems to be working ok. I've also noticed some inconsistent stitching which is annoying given that the price is half a months rent for me. But the biggest reason why I'm taking off 2 whole stars is that the embossing in the sole, the coolest part of the shoe to me, has literally worn down completely after one single wear to a football game in Kyle Field. Like it's literally not there anymore. I knew it would wear down eventually (and my assumption was within 5 wears), but I was extremely disappointed to take my boots off and see that both logos on the bottom of both shoes were totally wiped out after the first wear :(. If that's a selling point for you, or your hoping to take pictures with them like I was eventually, that's definitely not gonna be possible after you wear them out once. Very comfortable though and they are a true Aggie Maroon which is a positive!

I watched another lady try these on tonight and I couldn’t take my eyes off of them. When she decided to purchase them, I went on a search and found 1 more pair. They are beautiful and they came home with me. I thought a may have to go up a size but I purchased my normal size. The cognac color is lovely.

I am a true size 8 in every shoe, and I often go up to 8.5 when it comes to boots with no zipper. I received my 8.5s and could not even get my foot down past the ankle of the right boot. The left boot fit but I had some panic when I could barely get it off (needed my boyfriend to pull hard). I started an exchange for a 9. The exchange process was the easiest I’ve ever experienced so I was really impressed with that. The boots are beautiful, btw. The craftsmanship is impeccable. So my 9s arrived today. The left one goes on and comes off just fine. The right one is a little struggle on and off but it fits. Once they are on, they are definitely bigger than what I’d prefer with lots of foot slippage. I’m on the fence about keeping them because for the cost, I’d like them to fit better and easier. I’ve looked at the Plain Janes as an alternative because the reviews suggest they fit a bit differently. I want to keep the boots, but I’m definitely unsure if it’s worth it because of the fit issues. It’s a tough call because they are absolutely gorgeous.

I absolutely loved these right out of the box. They fit perfect. Because they are a snip toe I went up 1/2 size from my regular shoe size. I have a wider toe box. Perfect! These are distressed black, looking almost gray. This is my 5th pair of Lane boots and they won't be my last. Comfort and quality. I had to exchange a different pair and their service is superb. Love this boot! The color is so intensely turquiouse and the detailed stitching is top notch. They are very comfortable. I wear a 6 and they fit perfect. I have tiny calves, which I hate, and wasn't sure if they would fit okay, they fit perfectly
