Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

I understand there are variances, but… The turquoise boots have so much purple/dark blue areas throughout & on the toes 😢 that they don’t look like what is pictured & what I thought I was buying. Disappointing. However, shipping was fast and I loved that.

I should’ve known better than to order anything but rubber bottom boots - but I did it anyways. I wore my new super cute boots to the rodeo and after only one night of wearing them- they already looked like roughed up cardboard on the bottoms. When I used to dance a lot, I would’ve dreamed of these boots - I imagine they would glide beautifully across a salted dance floor. For an everyday wear though, this isn’t the boot.

All I can say is WOW! For the first time EVER I slipped my foot toght into a boot (high instep) and immediately walk in them without professional stretching or having numb toes and feet. I am a 7.5 in some shoes but usually buy an 8 in most shoes and ALL boots. I bought the 8 and there is enough room to wear a nice thick sock with them! I have average to slightly thicker calves so I got the wider calf option because I wanted the extra room for tucking in jeans and these are perfect and look great and not too big with my dresses as well. Perfecto Lane! I need another couple pairs now! 😊❤️

I found these and immediately wanted them because they are my favorite color and they have studs come on! I am normally a 9.5 in boots and have 16.25 inch calves. I ordered the 10 based on reviews because I wear thick socks with my boots, sometimes doubling up and my large calves. These for my calves! They are a little big on the foot but with two pairs of thick socks fit perfectly. I wear thick socks because I will end up walking several miles in one day in them. (Rodeo)

Order and purchase was easy and I love free shipping. Boots were darker than pictures and studs are not that secured and can easily come off.

My experience was good. The first set I got was a size 10 since they don’t carry these in a half sizes I had to return and get the size 11, which fits fine. If you’re in half sizes, make sure you go up on this style.
