Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

These boots are beautiful!! I’m 5’ 1 and the height of them is perfect!! I struggle finding boots that fit my calves good. Normally boots are too wide on my calves and I feel like I drowning in them but these fits so perfect. They’re also probably the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever tried on. Which is great bc I’ll be dancing in them for my wedding reception. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the pictures on the website are alittle misleading on the shade of them. They look much more bright white in pictures but are pretty beige/ tan. Which is fine just be aware of that! Highly recommend these boots

The boots are absolutely gorgeous but the calves are tighter than all my other boots to the point where I can’t wear them. They are also not a true white which is more of what I was looking for.

They looked WAY more white on the site than they do in person. There is already another review on here with pictures of how they actually look. I still love the design stitched on the sides. The part that fits my calves fits way too tight though.

First, these boots are beautiful and excellent quality leather, and craftmanship. The stitching is very pretty and I found the fit true to size (I'm a size 10 M width). The round toe is what I actually prefer, no more suffering for pointy toes. I am a bit disappointed that they are not white as pictured. I know monitors differ, but the site photos clearly shoe white boot images when they are more cream or beigy. I'm going to keep them because I can use them, but I specifically bought the boots for a dress in mind and wanted "White" boots.

Absolutely stunning! I bought these towear in my wedding. The tops are a bit tight, I will be going to get them stretched by a cobbler.
