"Every time I see a butterfly, it reminds me of my dog Pilgrim. He was my best friend. 3 years ago, he was in a terrible accident that claimed his life. He was my soul dog. After his passing, I would visit our favorite places, one of those being the river. While at the river with my other dogs, I would notice monarch butterflies fluttering around us. Instantly, I connected it to the pilgrim and knew he was right there with us. The butterflies are sweet reminders that keep his memory alive, even 3 years later. I know he is close, and love leaves signs everywhere."
