Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

Instantly, I connected it to the pilgrim and knew he was right there with us. The butterflies are sweet reminders that keep his memory alive, even 3 years later. I know he is close, and love leaves signs everywhere."

These knee-high lavender boots with butterfly stitching receive outstanding praise. Customers said they're "SO beautiful" and "incredibly comfortable" right out of the box. The color is lovely, zipper makes them easy on/off, and lower heel is perfect for dancing. True to size with excellent fit. One minor issue: slight leather peeling at sole noted.

These boots are so pretty! The detailing of the butterflies is such a sweet touch and the lavender color is so beautiful. They were really easy to break in and so comfortable to wear! I’m so happy with my first pair of Lane boots! I did however notice there is slight peeling of the purple leather at the bottom where the sole meets, it’s very minor but something I noticed.

I ordered these boots and received them yesterday. I wore them to church today and got so many compliments from men and women both. The color is so pretty. I ordered my normal 9.5 and the fit is perfect. I have been wearing these boots all day; they are so comfortable. I like the lower heel as well. With tall boots I love the zippers. Makes them easier to get on and off. For reference, I am 5’2” and love the height of these boots. Lane boots never disappoint. Thank you.

These are such beautiful boots!! The detail is gorgeous and they fit great! I love how it’s a lower heel and a more rounded toe. I’m a 9-9.5 depending on the brand and style, I went with a 9.5 is these and they didn’t disappoint.

This is the pair of boots I get the most compliments on! The color and scalloped top make them so unique and beautiful. In true Lane boot fashion, they’re extremely comfortable. I like that these have a bit lower of a heel than all my other Lane boots, it makes them even more comfortable for a long night of line dancing, I feel like I’m dancing in slippers!
