Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

Love, love , just do it ! You won’t be sorry . First outing with my boots was 10 hours on my feet at Morgan Walken concert. Girls left with boots in hand . Mine were still on my feet . Super comfortable and beautiful! I’m a size 6.5 and the fit perfectly

These boots are a 10/10 in beauty. They smell amazing. True leather! I took a star away due to comfort. It is wise to size a 1/2 size down. They for true to my normal boot size but were uncomfortable on my right foot while the left felt fine! I’ve had this problem before with Lane boots. Never anywhere else. I bought insoles from boot barn and that immediately took care of the problem! However, now they are TIGHT in the toe box. I’ve decided to keep them bc they are gorgeous and I love them. I just wear super thin socks. But I’ve also noted my feet and ankles are sore after wearing several hours. I’m 5’7, 125, athletic build and small calves. There is still plenty of room in the calf area but not huge which I appreciate. All in all, gorgeous boot, but not the most comfortable. Especially if not wearing the insoles.

Lane didn’t disappoint! Right out of the box the boots smelled amazing quality top-notch. I needed to stretch in the calf area a little bit but overall worth every penny. If you’re thinking about buying just go for it!

Love these boots!I absolutely love my Lexington Boots in Latte Suede. I did have to size up—suede tends to run a bit snug. I usually wear an 8 in Lane boots, but the 9 fit perfectly. They’re super comfortable and I’ve already gotten tons of compliments. I’m planning to wear them all summer long with skirts, shorts, and my favorite boot-cut jeans. Stylish and versatile!

Beautiful & comfortable boots - I sized up to wear socks but my left boot is a lot looser than the right so I have to wear two different socks lol. Not the end of the world but a little inconvenient (loss of a star). Overall very impressed, this was my first time buying a pair of lanes and I really liked them so far!
