Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

Were a little tight in the calves at first. But loosened up once I wore them a bit. Still one of the only pairs of boots I can wear out of the box without breaking them in.

Love these so much!! I go line dancing 2-3 times a week and they are so comfortable and a lot lighter than my other boots. The only con is the red is not the same as the one on the model. The boots are more red with a char than the bright red pictured

Oh, Lane. You’ve done it to me again. Another PERFECT pair of boots that just make me want to buy another. These boots are absolutely beautiful (of course they are) and they are comfortable. The only problem is… the boots are so good I can’t stop ordering them… my poor husband… I can only tell him “it’s like investing in art” so many times before he puts his foot down lol.

P.S. if y’all wanted to start making leather jackets to match my collection, I would t be terribly mad. Just an idea 🤠

I absolutely love these, they are super cute. Theres just a few things, one they are not the color pictured. They are more a burgundy wine color red. Another thing is they have these straps on the outside that rubs on your leg so will def have to wear tall socks. I am usually a 7 1/2, I ordered a 7 and they fit perfect. Also they are perfect for small legs, if you have larger calves they might be too tight for you.

These boots fit perfect right out the box, I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, boots, sneakers and sandals, so that's what I ordered....PERFECT! I have thick calves too, still comfortable, not too snug either. The color is a deep red, very rich. The smell out the box is intoxicating, I love that real leather smell.....sooo worth the money.
