Lane Boots fit true to size. We recommend that you purchase the size found most in your closet. Boots should fit snug to your foot. They should be neither too tight, nor too loose. Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

THE PERFECT FITTING BOOT

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The combination of these features contribute to the true-size fit and comfort of Lane Boots. We are confident you will want to wear them all day long.
  • The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
  • It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
  • The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
  • Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

These boots should be a staple in anyone's wardrobe!!!!! As a designer, I wanted to use a boots that showcased timeless style with impeccable fit for the models. In comes Lane's Emma Jane Boot! The models reveled at the fact the boots were super comfortable and they looked amazing. I even ordered some for myself!

I am disappointed in the color. The picture shows it’s more of a saddle tan, but the ones i got are a much more muted and darker brown. The quality and feel of the boots are great so I will be keeping but please do not mislead with the pictures.

I felt the color didn’t really match what was online… that said, the boots are gorgeous, fit well (normal street size) and are gorgeous! These are my 3rd pair of Lane boots. My other two are the midi size.

First boots shipped were worn looking and off color from each other so I sent them back for replacement. This was a smooth process and now I love my new boots. They are so comfortable!

I have several pairs of performance boots and was excited to try these. They are beautiful but they didn’t fit me like a cowboy boot usually does. I’m a solid 7 but the Lane 7 was way too small. The 7.5 was very sloppy walking.. The vamp was loose and there’s no snug fit that a boot should have. Maybe these are more of a relaxed fashion type boot and not a true boot that has to be broken in. Sadly they didn’t work for me.

I had a wonderful experience, event though I did experience a delay and switched the color, I am very pleased. Boots are beautiful and, best of all, they're real leather. Quality is amazing and the fit is perfect and very comfortable.

These were backordered and I had to wait forever for them, but I absolutely love them. The color is true to the photos, the quality is excellent and they are shockingly really comfortable! I was expecting to be blistered and in pain after wearing them (wide feet) but I wore them all day with zero issues. I highly recommend!
