I'm highly disappointed with Lane and their subpar quality of the hot pink boots, and the turquoise that I purchased. I have 4 other pairs that I haven't removed from the box to inspect yet but I have a terrible feeling that I will be disappointed and further upset with their products. Here is a list of the concerns and issues with just the hot pink and turquoise.
1. They're not hot pink nor are they turquoise as shown in the pictures.
2. They have black flecks throughout the boots/ coloring. It is like someone took a black brush and flicked the brush on/ around the boots.
3. There was white paint on the tip of the toe and boot shaft.
4. They had glue at the base of the boot and it trailed onto the leather of the boot as well.
5. They weren't colored one consistent color, it was like there were streaks throughout the boot at the base of the foot, and all over the boot shafts.
6. The teal color from the bottom of the boots had run up and over the base where the boot is sewn.
This is not a one in a billion case/issue. I also purchased the turquoise as well and have the same issue with the color not being as shown, coloring of the boot being muddled, the black paint/streaks and glue covering areas of the boot. I'm genuinely upset and questioning how Lane thinks their product is worth the price they're charging when their quality control is below subpar. Do better Lane!!!! It is ridiculous and upsetting that there is no consistency with their items.
I will say that I purchased 7 pairs of Lanes. Some I purchased through boot barn, some through boutiques and some purchased directly from Lane. The consistency is an issue on the manufacturing floor and nothing else.
