Lane Boots are handcrafted with the finest leather, inside and out, and will mold to your foot. They do not take long to break in. The break-in period will vary depending on the type and thickness of the leather.

Lane Boots are bench-made and hand-lasted. We use an exclusive "last" (the foot model our boots are built around) to make sure they are comfortable, they fit great, and they look fabulous. We use an antibacterial, moisture-wicking, padded memory foam insole along with a flexible, leather covered insole and an impact absorbing heel cushion. The in-step of a boot is a key fit area. The in-step area should fit snug, not too loose, and not too tight on the foot.
It is normal for your foot to slip a little in the heel area when trying on a new boot. If the heel of your boot is too tight, the instep may also be too tight. A tight heel could indicate that the boot is too short. When the foot is positioned too close to the toe of the boot, the toes can be constrained in the boot.
The ball area of your foot should be positioned evenly with the widest part of the boot for the best fit.
Lane Boots are offered in a variety of boot shapes, toe shapes and heel shapes. The wider the toe area is, the more relaxed the toes will be. The higher the heel of the boot, the tighter the instep may be.

These boots are great! Beautiful AND comfortable. They ran a bit big and I had to exchange for a smaller size (I always wear a 9 or even 9.5 but had to get 8.5 in these). Customer service made the exchange easy for me. Will buy more in the future.

I purchased the red Emma Jane boots for my daughter as a birthday gift. I had no idea they would ship from Arlington, so I received them in 2 days. I’ve got 7 pairs of Lane boots and the only ones that fit comfortablyright out of the box are my pink booties with the studs. I loved them so much I ordered the black. Got them and they were so tight and stuff and hard, I’ve had to put stretchers in them rub them w leather conditioner and stretch more! Same with the red ones so stiff so tight. I probably won’t be buying g any more

These boots are beautiful. They are a deep red. The packaging was amazing! They arrived within 3 or 4 days from the date I ordered them. I must consider the Thanksgiving holidays didn't even slow down the boots arrival. I can wear a 9.5 , but since I am between sizes ( 9.5-10) I ordered a size 10. Lanes are very comfortable and are not at all heavy like my favorite boots ( tecovas). I love the blue bottoms and the emblem on the heels. I'm so cute now with my denim skirt. I hope I'm reimbursed for the sale. I hear the customer service is incredible 😲.

These boots are so beautiful and comfortable! My only complaint is that all, but one of the pics showed them with brown soles so I was hopeful mine would have the brown soles, but they were black. I prefer the look of the red with brown, but still love these boots.

Cutest most perfect concert boots ever!!!!! I got so many compliments on them. They are just the right kind of shiny, lipstick vibrant red, and fit at just the right length to go with a mini skirt. I wore them to the Ella Langley concert in the pit and not one scratch was seen on the boots by the end of the night. I highly recommend any Lane boots as I have five pair and LOVE every. single. pair!

The color was beautiful but there were several imperfections on the boots. There were little black marks. Pulled threads in the stitching, one of the fringes was somehow attached to the soul of the boot and the blue bottom paint was a bit messy around the boots. Too many imperfections for the price of these boots. The only reason I’m giving them a 3 star is because of the color. I was so excited about these as they were my first pair of Lane Boots, unfortunately I was very disappointed.
